Special Summertime Surprise!

In celebration of my 100th post (today is #99) I wanted to do something cute and special. I have so much fun with my blog, finding interesting sites, recipes and tidbits to share...I wanted to do something special for my friends and followers. (I know there are only a handful of you, but I am grateful you stop in and check up on me every once in a while!)
Anyway, I put together a cute Summertime Homemaking Package as a gift for the lucky winner....

How do you win this fabulous secret summertime surprise?

Leave me a friendly comment on this post-- that puts your name in the drawing. If you comment a quick homemaking tip or email me a great summer recipe your name will be entered multiple times. (If you win I'll need your address information, so leave me your email address that way we can get the details when the time comes!)

I'll be leaving the posting open for 48 hours! You can click the "email me" button on the left for easy email delivery, or jot down my email info:

I'm hoping to get some fun facts and recipes from you ladies to post, so don't be shy!

Here's a yummy summer citrus recipe to get the contest going....this is from one of my new favorite blogs:

Sugar Pie Farmhouse

Check out her website and blog--full of great recipes!!

Mrs. Borden’s Creamy Lemon Pie

3 egg yolks
(1) 14 ounce can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
Blend with a mixer until creamy. Pour into prepared graham cracker crust. Bake at 325 for 30-35 minutes. Cool, then chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Just before serving add the fresh whipped cream. Garnish with sliced lemon.

I think it’s best to prepare this pie the day before to make sure it’s good and cold…but make the whipped cream just before serving.
